Apple Crumble Recipe

Dairy & wheat free. Serves 8-12.

Filling Ingredients:

Lots of apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1-2 t ground cinnamon
1-2 t ground nutmeg

Instructions:

  • Fill a large glass baking pan with apple slices, leaving about an inch from the top.
  • Add 1/4 c granulated sugar, & 1-2 t each of ground cinnamon & nutmeg and gently mix til all apples are coated.

Topping Ingredients:

1 cup oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup corn starch
1 t each ground cinnamon & nutmeg
1/2 cup coconut oil

Instructions:

  • Mix 1/4 cup coconut oil (refrigerate to harden if necessary), leaving in little blobs, into oats, brown sugar, corn starch, and spices.
  • Cover apples with topping and bake at 375 for 45 min then pull out and blob 1/4 c coconut oil globs on top and bake another 15-20 minutes till lightly browned.
