Best Beauchamp Smokies Recipe

My late Uncle Ray Beauchamp made the best bbq’d smokies, and Auntie Gayle taught us how he did it.

Ingredients:

Pack of Bavarian smokies

Pack of hotdog buns

BBQ sauce

Condiments of choice

Instructions:

  1. Make a couple small slashes on both sides of each smokie.
  2. Layer them in the bottom of a glass baking pan.
  3. Smother the smokies in BBQ sauce.
  4. Grill on a hot BBQ till crispy and a bit charred. Brush on more BBQ sauce as the slashes open up while cooking.
  5. Serve hot on buns with condiments of your choice. I like just ketchup.
